DigitalOcean is launching GPU Droplets, which are NVIDIA H100 virtual servers for running AI infrastructures, allowing anyone to work with AI without needing to manage the underlying infrastructure.
NVIDIA H100 GPUs are one of the most powerful GPUs available today, according to DigitalOcean, and they include 640 Tensor Cores and 128 Ray Tracing Cores, which enables high-speed data processing.
“GPU Droplets offer on-demand access to these machines, enabling developers, startups, and innovators to train AI models, process large datasets, and handle complex neural networks with ease,” DigitalOcean wrote in a blog post.
GPU Droplets are available in both single-node and multi-node configurations. They can be set up in just a couple of clicks, and managed from the DigitalOcean API suite. It also is easy to spin up or scale down Droplets as needed to keep up with demand.
In addition, DigitalOcean announced that it is expanding its Kubernetes support to these NVIDIA H100 GPUs so that users can utilize this new capability in their Kubernetes environments.
“We’re making it easier and more affordable than ever for developers, startups, and other innovators to build and deploy GenAI applications and move them into production,” said Bratin Saha, chief product and technology officer at DigitalOcean. “To do that, they need access to advanced AI infrastructure without the added cost and complexity. Our GPUs as a service open this opportunity to a much broader user base.”
GPU Droplets are available today, and users can sign up for them here.
