Lenovo is overhauling its storage portfolio to make it better suited for AI needs. According to Lenovo, this is the largest refresh of its portfolio ever, including 21 new ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile models and new AI Starter Kits for Lenovo Hybrid AI Platform.
New ThinkSystem and ThinkAgile offerings include:
- Lenovo ThinkAgile SDI V4 Series, which accelerate computing for AI inferencing workloads
- New Lenovo ThinkSystem Storage Arrays
- Converged Lenovo ThinkAgile and ThinkSystem hybrid cloud and virtualization solutions, which combines the enterprise features of ThinkAgile VX Series with the data management capabilities of ThinkSystem DG Series
- Lenovo ThinkAgile HX Series GPT-in-a-Box solutions
The company is also releasing AI Starter Kits for its Hybrid AI Platform to provide an “easy on-ramp for enterprise inferencing and retrieval-augmented (RAG) workflows.” These include pre-configured compute, storage, GPUs, and networking, and include AI-powered ransomware protection as well.
