Morpheus Data has unveiled updates to its cloud management platform that enables IT operations teams to orchestrate software-defined networks, multi-cloud high availability, and leading configuration management tools.
The platform includes more than 75 third-party tools, and provides a single platform for IT teams to access those tools, and provision and deploy applications.
“Keeping up with new technologies is virtually impossible for organizations already drowning in technical debt,” said Brad Parks, VP of business development for Morpheus Data. “Our API integration leadership means customers can focus more on service delivery and less on maintaining brittle DIY automation projects.”
New integrations include VMware NSX, phpIPAM, Zerto IT Resilience Platform, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Vault.
Extending SDN support to VMware NSX will enable companies to seamlessly integrate virtual cloud networks and automate networking tasks, such as IP Address Management, DNS, and more, the company explained. The release also adds phpIPAM to its list of third-party IP address management integrations, which will enable Morpheus to automatically assign IP addresses and create DNS records.
By partnering with Zerto, Morpheus will be able to establish continuous data protection policies that leverage the Zerto IT Resilience Platform.
Finally, it has extended its Ansible integrations to include Ansible Tower and Ansible Vault. Ansible Tower allows Morpheus to gather playbooks, variables, and host information in addition to initiating execution requests that include Ansible Vault credentials.
Businesses competing in the digital economy must transform or die,” said William Fellows, VP of research for 451 Research. “The paradox is that the more important the role of infrastructure, the more important that it is to shield users from having to directly interact with it – that’s why cloud management and DevOps have become so critical.”
