NetBox Labs Expands Infrastructure Intelligence Platform and Unveils Key Strategic Partnerships

NetBox Labs today announced a suite of new platform capabilities at its inaugural NetBox Evolve conference, enhancing the NetBox Labs Infrastructure Intelligence Platform to streamline enterprise and AI datacenter buildouts. THe company also announced strategic integrations that meet the growing need for datacenters and infrastructure.

Designed to span the infrastructure life cycle, the platform expands with new products, analytics, and AI operations capabilities. Leading the release is NetBox Designs, now in public preview, which provides templates for rapid infrastructure layout and planning across sites, racks, and IP structures. These designs feed into NetBox Asset Lifecycle to guide planned objects from initial bill of materials through procurement, shipment, and deployment. Additionally, NetBox Analytics introduces new dashboards to help organizations visualize complex operational environments, while NetBox Visual Explorer moves toward general availability next month to simplify navigation across large-scale datacenter footprints.

Alongside these technical additions to the platform, NetBox Labs highlighted major new strategic partnerships with NVIDIA and Grafana Labs. These industry collaborations position NetBox at the core of configuration management, observability, and data orchestration as global demand for AI datacenters and enterprise infrastructure continues to surge across diverse sectors worldwide.

In its strategic integration with NVIDIA, NetBox becomes a native source of truth for NVIDIA Configuration Manager (NVCM), a core network orchestration component within NVIDIA DSX OS. This integration embeds NetBox directly into the design, provisioning, and daily operation of large-scale AI cluster fabrics, providing authoritative configuration data to drive automated deployment.

Meanwhile, the partnership with Grafana Labs bridges the gap between infrastructure state and telemetry. An official, open-source NetBox plugin available in the Grafana catalog delivers real-time infrastructure context—including site, role, tenant, rack, owner, and lifecycle details—directly into Grafana dashboards and alerts. Furthermore, NetBox Labs’ open-source Orb platform offers Grafana Cloud users an additional stream of network flow and packet telemetry, equipping network and datacenter teams with rich, actionable insights.

“The role that we see Grafana playing in this whole world, both data centers and these enterprises, is they’re going and gathering the data about how this infrastructure is actually behaving right now,” Kris Beevers, NetBox Labs CEO, explained to SD Times in a recent interview. “The challenge with that, especially in these gigantic-scale data center environments or in networks that are getting really complex now, is, what does all that data mean? So, we have that information in our Infrastructure Intelligence Platform. The partnership with Grafana is to natively bring the context from our platform to Grafana with an official … data source that we worked on together with them.”

On top of that, Beevers said NetBox Labs is bringing in tools and technology for getting more telemetry about these particular kinds of environments.

The NetBox Labs Infrastructure Intelligence Platform is further fortified by agentic operations features and vendor-neutral context designed to support automated workflows. To lower barriers for agentic automation, NetBox Agents introduces pre-built agents for data quality management, change request reviews, version compliance, and data import, now available in public preview. The NetBox Platform Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server allows enterprise teams to connect their custom AI agents directly to the platform, enabling direct plain-language querying and modification. To support seamless data integration across existing modern ecosystems, NetBox Labs is also releasing general availability integrations for Arista CloudVision, AWS VPC IPAM, and Cisco Nexus Dashboard, with additional public previews launching later this month for Palo Alto Panorama, Tenable, and Kubernetes platforms.

“Whether teams are building enterprise networks and infrastructure in retail, healthcare, financial services, or deploying an AI datacenter at massive speed and scale, configuration, observability and automation all depend on having an authoritative record of what infrastructure should exist and how it should be operating,” Beevers said in the news announcement. “That record is NetBox.”
