Menlo Security has announced that it is partnering up with Microsoft through the Microsoft Active Protections Program (MAPP). MAPP provides early access to vulnerability information to allow software providers to more quickly provide protections to their customers.

VIAVI and 3Z announce new toolkit
The Fiber Installer Kit includes tools needed for testing, inspecting, and cleaning fiber and connectors while installing wireless networks.
The kit includes an OLTS-85 optical loss test set, P5000i digital fiber microscope, and FFL-050 visual fault locator.
“Connector contamination is one of the greatest causes of network failure. A single particle mated into the core of a fiber can cause significant back reflection, insertion loss and even equipment damage,” said Enzo Dalmazzo, senior director of Converged Instruments and Virtual Test at VIAVI. “By testing and validating fiber before turning up a site, contractors will expand the range of services they offer, and enable carriers to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction.”
Harness releases Continuous Efficiency
Continuous Efficiency helps DevOps teams manage the cost of containerized apps and microservices in public clouds. It provides those teams with visibility into the cost of those applications, microservices, and clusters.
This new offering is integrated into the existing Harness Continuous Delivery platform.
Benefits of the new offering include the fact that it was designed specifically for these teams, offers root cause analysis, and doesn’t require tagging.
