StackRox has raised $26.5 million in funding. This round was led by Menlo Ventures, with participation from Highland Capital Partners, Hewlett-Packard Enterprise, Redpoint Ventures, and Sequoia Capital.
The company will use the new funds to meet growing demand driven by Kubernetes and DevSecOps, and to deliver on its vision of providing organizations with the tools to securely build, deploy, and run cloud-native applications.

Sectigo launches PKI Risk Assessment Tool
This tool will help businesses assess their exposure to security risks.
Organizations will be given a brief questionnaire that then is used to create a custom report that evaluates risk across eight different Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) use cases: web servers, email, networked devices, IoT devices, application development, DevOps environments, key management in public cloud, and SSH-based server management.

Silicon Labs has launched Simplicity Studio 5
The latest version of the IDE simplifies development of System-on-Chips (SoCs) and modules, microcontrollers, and other embedded products for IoT devices.
Key highlights include scalability, a responsive UI, modern platform, core improvements, network analyzer, project configuration, power profiler, advanced security, automatic board detection, and value-add tools.
