Juniper Networks has announced it is expanding Contrail Enterprise Multicloud to enable end-to-end policy and control capabilities. It will support any workload in multi-vendor networking environments, as well as most cloud server deployments.
According to the company, most organizations need at least two controllers to manage all of their overlay, underlay, and network devices. With the new capabilities of the Contrail Enterprise Multicloud, they will be able to monitor and manage workloads from a single command center.
Contrail Enterprise Multicloud now also offers real-time infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and application monitoring. This provides organizations with visibility and analytics across both their physical and virtual environments. Contrail Enterprise Multicloud’s intent-based analytics can predict, remediate, and alert issues in real-time.
In order to help organizations move to multicloud, Juniper has also announced a 5-step multicloud migration framework, new data center bundles that combine QFX Series Switches with Contrail Enterprise Multicloud, and new professional services for automated testing.
The 5-step framework provides customers with a way to create a customized path to multicloud, taking aspects of architecture, products, tools, processes, and people into consideration. The framework incorporates Juniper’s multicloud solutions, such as Contrail Enterprise Multicloud, as well as available professional services.
One of the professional services it is offering is Automated Lab Testing, which provides pre-production test activities as well as giving customers access to automation libraries that contain playbooks and test cases. In addition, Automation Deployment allows IT teams to automate network configurations. Finally, Juniper will offer customer software support for software developed during the engagement.
