Cloudforet is an open-source project hosted by the Linux Foundation that provides a single platform for managing cloud resources from different providers.

By having everything accessible from one platform, IT admins can quickly search cloud resources and analyze them.

They also get better visibility into costs because billing data is also included and there are dashboards that provide cost analysis, including month-to-month spend, cost trend per product, and cost per provider. There is also a budget management feature to enable IT teams to control costs.

Cloudforet also provides real-time monitoring of performance, usage, and security across different environments.

It also offers plugins for different messaging platforms, including Slack, Telegram, and Microsoft Teams, so that it can do alerts and notifications.

“Cloud computing has become a critical technology for businesses, offering flexibility, scalability, and cost efficiency. However, multi-cloud environments, which use the services of multiple cloud providers, can introduce complexity and management challenges … Cloudforet provides a range of features to effectively manage multi-cloud environments,” the documentation states.
