DoiT, which provides software to help simplify cloud setup, has announced new features in Cloud Navigator designed to enable better FinOps practices.
Cloud Navigator is a tool that helps companies prevent cloud overspending by providing spending analytics, anomaly detection, and more.
The company introduced the integration of Ava, which is a generative AI assistant that can analyze data and generate reports from natural language queries.
Another new feature is DoiT Insights, which analyzes cloud billing data and identifies areas where money can be saved. It offers recommendations such as architecture improvements, storage optimization, workload rightsizing, and more.
And finally, the company added new dashboards that display usage costs for containerized workloads in Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
“Understanding cloud scope, usage and costs requires the ability to allocate spend and implement showback to all stakeholders,” said John Purcell, chief product officer at DoiT. “Our technology-delivered expertise provides customers the cost analytics, reporting and attributions needed to advance FinOps best practices.”
