The network automation company Gluware has announced a new integration with NetBox, an open source network source of truth.
According to Gluware, the integration will provide customers with the best of both worlds when it comes to Gluware’s automation capabilities and NetBox’s network data modeling.
NetBox provides a centralized source of truth for network data, allowing network operators to verify that the data they are relying on is accurate. Gluware explained that NetBox provides the foundation needed for network teams to build their own intent-based network automation.
This is combined with Gluware’s advanced automation capabilities that enable teams to avoid manual scripting, which can sometimes introduced unintended errors.
“Gluware is dedicated to meeting networking professionals where they are and making their journey to network automation as effective and efficient as possible,” said Jeff Gray, CEO and co-founder of Gluware. “Today’s integration with NetBox Labs marks another significant step forward in this mission. The NetBox user base represents a significant portion of the networking community, and we are proud to invite them to bring their preferred tools to work with us to flawlessly automate their networks and network source of truth.”
Kris Beevers, CEO of NetBox Labs, the steward of the NetBox project, added: “This partnership brings together the best of both worlds. By combining NetBox’s detailed network model with Gluware’s cutting-edge automation technology, we are creating a seamless and powerful solution for enterprise networks. We are proud to pair our industry-leading source of truth capabilities with Gluware’s intelligent automation, delivering a comprehensive solution that brings unprecedented speed, consistency, and control to network operations.”
