Infisical is an open source secrets management platform that allows teams to securely store things like API keys, database credentials, and 150+ other secret types.

These secrets can then be synced across teams and infrastructure. It has a web interface for managing secrets across different projects, and a custom CLI that can be used to gather secrets and inject them into the development or CI/CD environment.

“We’re on a mission to make security tooling more accessible to everyone, not just security teams, and that means redesigning the entire developer experience from ground up,” the team writes on their GitHub page

It offers versioning capabilities so that users can track changes to secrets and rollback to previous versions if needed.

Additional capabilities include continuous monitoring and precommit checks, secret rotation and generation of dynamic secrets, role based access controls, and more.

It also integrates with providers like Ansible, AWS, Cloudflare, Docker, GitHub, Google Cloud, Heroku, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Terraform, Vercel, and more.

Infisical was first open sourced in November 2022 and now has over 13k stars on GitHub and 150 developers contributing to it.
