The monitoring company Catchpoint today announced an update to its Internet Stack Map, a tool that provides visibility into the Internet dependencies critical applications rely on.
The new version utilizes AI to correlate customers’ test results with Catchpoint’s Global Internet Outage Detector results. This enables customers to more quickly identify root causes of an incident.
Internet Stack Maps also now features Application Tracing, which allows customers to track request journeys throughout the application stack.
The latest update also refreshed the user interface to provide customers with a “holistic, end-to-end view of the complete experience with analytics and drill-down, all without missing a beat,” the company wrote in its announcement.
The new UI will enable customers to see what is causing a problem in just one click, according to Catchpoint.
“The Internet is your network—and it’s never been more fragile. Apps are no longer confined to internal data centers—they’re distributed across multi-cloud environments, interconnected by APIs, and entirely dependent on an increasingly complex and brittle internet,” says Mehdi Daoudi, CEO and founder of Catchpoint. “Organizations need to rethink performance, availability and security from an internet-first perspective and take ownership of their own internet resilience rather than assuming third-party providers will keep them online.”
